We are looking for a Python Backend/Web Developer (m/w/d), part-time (20-30hours) or full-time, flexible working hours, fully remote possible.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Design, specification and implementation of Python-based web services
  • New or further development of modules in existing REST-based backends
  • Close cooperation with our frontend developers

 

Your profile

  • Two years of professional experience in software development
  • Independent, proactive, structured and goal-oriented work, active communication
  • Enjoy continuously developing your personal skills
  • Solution-oriented thinking and acting
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Professional english, german would be a plus

 

Which qualification profile do you bring with you?

  • Experience in Python-based backend/web development frameworks (e.g. FastAPI, Flask, Django)
  • Experience with RESTful API design
  • Safe handling of CI/CD tools (e.g. Gitlab)

 

Following knowledge would be a plus:

  • Test-driven development (Pytest)
  • Container virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, Terraform)
  • Good knowledge of Linux
  • Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and web servers (nginx, apache)
  • Frontend technologies and frameworks (Angular, Vue.js, Quasar, Streamlit)

 

 

  • Varied area of ​​responsibility with high social value (e.g. cooperation with clinical studies for the development of novel substances for the therapy of neuropathological diseases such as depression, anxiety disorders or dementia)
  • Cooperation with international collaboration partners
